Together, they formed the hip-hop duo DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince. Their breakout album, “He’s the DJ, I’m the Rapper,” released in 1988, featured the hit single “Parents Just Don’t Understand,” which won the first-ever Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance.
